WHAT AGE GROUP DO YOU RECOMMEND YOUR TEACHER'S PET CREATURE FOR?
We recommend it for children ages 3-9, usually kindy through to grade 4. We have had educators use it successfully up to grade 6.

I absolutely love the stuffed animal and book.
I have not used this in my classroom yet as I got it over summer break. However, I just know my first grade students are going to absolutely love it. I love how the book has the creature featured on every page. In my classroom we are going to review the rules and then display them in the class. I think the students will have a helpful reminder as the creature is posted on every rule. The creature will chose one student each day who did the best and the following day they will get to take care of the creature for the day as a reward. I also bought the think poster which will help them reflect on behaviors. If they love it (which I believe they will), I will consider getting the other creatures as I currently only have the classroom management one (blue).
